Great article Jen. We're seeing a lot of data centers enhance their energy efficiency out of the sheer cost savings that are involved. Most of the time they're discovering ways to bring in outside air (when it's cool out but not completely dry), and also ways to recirculate the hot air that servers produce back into the office areas of their buildings.
 
Either way, it's great to see this movement going on in the data center/hosting world, considering how much energy these facilities require!
