An open house is a great way to invite people into your business. Planning an after hours event or fun family day can really create a lot of stir in your community and help get people talking about your business. When planning this type of event carefully consider the following factors:
1. Who is this promotional event geared for? You should gear your open house event towards the people who will be more likely to use your company and its product or service. If your business is child or parent orientated then a family day might make the perfect event. If you cater mostly to business people then consider an after hours cocktail party, it may just fit the bill. An older crowd might appreciate an afternoon tea gathering. Making sure that your event targets a specific group of people is the thing that will help bring the most success to your promotion.
3. Offer promotional items and discounts to those who come. Be sure to order some nice promotional items that are geared towards thing that the people who will be coming would like to have. Be sure that they are good quality items that will be around to remind customers of the visit they made to your business. These items will also provide them with your contact information for future contacts. 4. Consider further promoting your business with a raffle. A raffle can really help you gather information about all who attend your open house and can be used in the future to contact these prospective customers again at some point in the future. Offering a raffle or even a few raffles is a good way to gather contact information and most people will not object to offering this information in exchange for the possibility of winning a free promotional present.
To generate new business, an open house is an amazing idea. This way you can meet freely with potential clients and find out what they like and expect as well as showing them what you have to offer.
